2. **Start with the Basics:** Before jumping into advanced problems, ensure your fundamental concepts in Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning are crystal clear. Don't shy away from revisiting school-level mathematics if needed.
3. **Practice Regularly:** This is non-negotiable. Solve previous year's question papers and mock tests religiously. Aim to solve at least one full-length mock test weekly, especially as the exam approaches. Analyze your performance in mocks to identify strengths and weaknesses.
4. **Time Management is Key:** With a composite time limit for both Prelims and Mains, speed and accuracy go hand-in-hand. Practice solving questions under timed conditions. Learn to quickly switch between sections and manage your time effectively during the exam.
5. **Focus on Weak Areas:** Once you've identified your weak spots through mock tests, dedicate extra time to improve them. Don't just skip tough topics; break them down and conquer them one by one.
6. **Current Affairs & Banking Awareness:** For the Mains exam, stay updated with current events, especially those related to banking and finance. Read daily newspapers, business magazines, and follow reliable online sources. Make short notes for quick revision.
7. **Computer Knowledge:** This section is often overlooked but can be a score booster. Learn the basics of computer hardware, software, MS Office, internet, and networking. Simple but consistent study here yields good results.
8. **Language Proficiency (English/Hindi):** For the language section, read widely to improve comprehension and vocabulary. Practice grammar rules and attempt different types of questions like cloze tests and error spotting.
9. **Revision:** Allocate dedicated time for revision. Go through your notes, formulas, and important current affairs topics regularly. Spaced repetition works wonders.
10. **Stay Healthy & Positive:** Don't neglect your physical and mental well-being. Get enough sleep, eat healthy, and take short breaks. A fresh mind performs best under pressure. Believe in yourself and stay motivated!
